1. Information We Collect
PDF Sign does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). The app works entirely on your device — no account, no login, no server.
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact details.
- We do not read, upload, or transmit the PDF files you sign.
- We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
- We do not require any storage permissions — file access uses Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF), which never grants broad storage access to the app.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
PDF Sign is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to show you relevant advertisements. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Types of ads shown in this app:
- App Open ads — shown when you launch the app (not shown on the very first cold start).
- Rewarded ads — shown before exporting a signed PDF; you watch the full ad to unlock the export.
- Native ads — displayed as cards within the document list and signatures screen.
Data AdMob may collect for advertising purposes:
- Android Advertising ID (Ad ID)
- IP address and approximate location (country/region level)
- Device information (model, OS version, language, screen size)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will see a consent prompt on first launch powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You may choose personalised or non-personalised ads.
To opt out of personalised advertising at any time, visit adssettings.google.com or go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization on your Android device.
3. Your PDF Files and Signatures
All PDF processing — including placing signatures and exporting — happens entirely on your device. No file content is ever uploaded to any server or third party.
Saved signatures are stored locally on your device only and can be deleted at any time from My Signatures in the app.
Exported PDFs are saved to your device's Downloads folder. The app does not retain any copy beyond what you choose to keep.
4. Third-Party Services
This app uses the following third-party SDK:
- Google AdMob — advertising network. Privacy Policy
No other analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are used.
5. Children's Privacy
PDF Sign is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad content rating is set to General (G) and child-directed treatment settings are disabled.
6. Data Security
Because PDF Sign does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data stored on our servers. Your files remain protected by your own device's security controls.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
